Hello My Name Is...

Hey! I look forward to getting to know you this year! Yes, that is a real Bearded Dragon on my shoulder- his name is Mufasa and he is a class pet that we acquired in 2019! He is fun to watch and students love petting him.
A few things you should know about me:
-I have been teaching for ten years! I taught four years of my time in North Carolina and the rest here at Oliver Elementary! 
- I have lived in four different states from coast to coast!
- I have three siblings, one twin brother who lives in Alaska, a younger sister who lives in North Carolina and a little (16yo) brother who lives right here in GA!
 - My teaching style is different than those you've seen in the past. When you walk in my room, you may see kids on the floor, kids on desks, me standing on desks, etc. This is WELCOME. I want my students to feel comfortable learning, and sometimes sitting just doesn't work.
