Mrs. Bennet-Stone

 Hi, I am Deborah Bennett-Stone, a kindergarten Teacher at Oliver Elementary. I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia and a graduate of Spelman College. My first teaching career began with the Atlanta Public School System. After years of teaching experience and various educational roles served in Atlanta Public Schools, I gained retirement. My love of education and children encouraged me to return to teaching full time with Clayton County Public Schools. I have 36 years of teaching experience, with teaching endorsements in Gifted and Reading. In addition to teaching school, I’m a proud dance educator, where I’ve owned my dance studio for more than 25 years. Dance education allows me to motivate and encourage clients of various age groups from children to adults.  I have a passion for working with the community while building their confidence, strength and talent through the art of dance. Education through academics and the arts are very dear to my heart!  Therefore, I look forward to building new relationships, inspiring hope, knowledge, and imagination, into every child and family served.
