Parent Liaison

Hello Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to 2021-2022 school year at E.W. Oliver Elementary where we are committed to Empowering students to achieve academic and personal goals.

I am Zsaquera Echols, Title I Parent Liaison at E. W. Oliver Elementary School. As the Title I Parent Liaison, I aim to increase parent involvement within the school as well as offer support to students, parents, and school staff in many ways. Throughout the year, I will work with school staff including the administrators, teachers, counselor and school social worker to provide a variety of workshops and training that can best support you all. My goal is to bridge the gap between home and school and strengthen community partnerships. 

The Parent Resource Center is in Room #22.  The Parent Resource Center is hours are Monday through Friday from 8a-3p, virtually. If you need resources from the center, I will be available to distribute those resources on Tuesdays by appointment only. The Parent Resource Center has valuable information and resources for parents.  The Parent Resource Center has computer access so that you can view your child’s grades online, informative brochures, employment leads, a monthly calendar for parent activities, and a lending library for parents.  Information pertaining to parent workshops will be sent home with students, posted on Class Dojo and in the parent resource google classroom. Please join the Parent Resource Google Classroom 

It is my pleasure to assist all parents in becoming an important link between home, school, and community. I strongly believe that with viable resources on hand and ongoing parent participation, we will have a great academic year.
